6 Reasons You Need Dragon’s Blood In Your Life – Backed by nearly 150 Studies

I came across Dragon’s Blood a few years ago after a shaman gave me a bottle to use in case I ‘needed to use it for healing’. At the time, I had no idea of how powerful Dragon’s Blood was, but after doing a bit of research I quickly realised it was more than just a skin healing agent.
Croton Lechleri is a tree native to the North West of South America, more commonly known as Sangre de Draco or Dragon’s Blood. It gets its nickname because of the colour of the sap it produces, which looks exactly like blood.
The tree sap is made up of water, mineral elements and other nutrients that provide life force for the tree and protect it against infection and disease. It heals the trunk of the tree. Indigenous people of the Amazon have been using Dragon’s Blood for thousands of years as their go-to remedy for cuts, bites, stings, scratches, wounds, and so much more.
After a camping trip last year I ended up with over 200 bites on my body and over 100 of them in my face, neck, ears, and head. I must‘ve been like an all you can eat buffet for them. Sot just to see how powerful Dragon’s Blood was, I decided to only apply it to my face and neck but leave the rest of the bites on my body so I could compare how quickly the sap would heal my skin.
I applied the Dragon’s Blood in quite generous amounts to all of the skin on my face. I then began to rub it in. Dragon’s Blood needs to be heated up to activate, so once you apply it, rub it until it turns white. As soon as I applied it I immediately felt the benefits, I couldn’t quite believe it! The itching stopped straight away which meant I wasn’t making the situation worse by scratching! The bites on my body, however, were driving me up the wall.
The Dragon’s Blood worked to form a protective layer over the skin and the powerful compound began to heal the bites covering my face, It made my skin feel really tight, like wearing a face mask.
After just three days day’s of using Dragon’s Blood, the bites had pretty much healed and had practically disappeared, I couldn’t believe how quickly it happened!
This video was taken on the day the bites started to appear; by day 2 they were even worse and covering my whole face. I had bites on top of bites.
Unfortunately, I lost the video and pictures of the day the bites were at their peak, but this picture was taken on the second day of applying the Dragon’s Blood. You can see from the first video that they were starting to clear. The inflammation had gone down A LOT.
Day 2 after applying Dragon’s Blood
I covered all my skin with Dragon’s Blood before bed each night and applied again the next day After 3 days I was pretty much back to normal, no spots, just a slight mark where some of the bites had been.
In this article, I will be exploring 6 of the ways Dragon’s Blood can be used, backed up by science, in the 146 studies in the reference section at the end of the article.
Of course, Dragon’s Blood has many more than 6 benefits, but this article would take me weeks to write if I mentioned everything it can do. So I have included science study links in the reference section to show many of the other conditions and diseases Dragon’s Blood has shown to help.
6 REASONS YOU NEED DRAGON’S BLOOD IN YOUR LIFE…
1. Heals the wounds
Dragon’s Blood is the number one, go-to skin healing agent for many tribal communities of the Amazon jungle. It has the amazing ability to stop bleeding, whilst also forming a protective layer between the injury and the environment and prevents infection. Research has shown that Dragon’s Blood may also speed up how fast wounds on the skin can heal. Dragon’s blood contains taspine, which is a known tissue-healing compound.
They were split into two groups, the first group was given a dragons blood cream, whilst the second group used a placebo cream. By day three, the scientists noticed that Dragon’s Blood improved healing and inflammation of the group that used Dragon’s Blood.
2. Helps with aging skin and Stretch Marks
One of the main things Dragon’s Blood is known for is its ability to repair and heal the skin. Dragon’s blood is suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin that needs extra care. It’s extremely healing and firming, whilst protecting and soothing the skin.
Dragon’s Blood contains a group of compounds called proanthocyanidins, which are responsible for repairing collagen, a major protein that makes up a lot of our tissues.
When it comes to antioxidant’s, Dragon’s Blood exceeds every other fruit, food, and spice in out there. Just a single drop of dragon’s blood is equivalent to 2 lbs of raw kale or 3 apples worth of antioxidants.
This is great news in a world where radiation is coming from all angles, we need all the protection, from the damage of radiation, as we can get.
I could go on all day about the benefits of Dragon’s Blood and all its capabilities but this article would be way too long! I have compiled a list of scientific studies below, feel free to check them out and see the full capacity of this amazing gift from Mother Nature.
